ZAGREB - PLITVICE LAKES - SPLIT- MAKARSKA - MLJET - DUBROVNIK - SIPAN/TRSTENIK - KORCULA-HVAR (Bol) - SPLIT

Itinerary:

DAY 1: WEDNESDAY - ARRIVAL ZAGREB
Arrive in Zagreb and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. At 19,00h welcome dinner and info meeting with your tour manager. (D)

DAY 2: THURSDAY - ZAGREB WALKING TOUR

City tour of Zagreb in the morning. A walk with your guide trough the historic upper town, where, among some of the sites, you will see St Mark's Church, the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the Lotrscak tower. Rest of the day at your leisure. (B)

DAY 3: FRIDAY - ZAGREB - PLITVICE LAKES - SPLIT
Croatia’s oldest and most beautiful national park. It consists of 16 lakes, connected through a series of waterfalls. An environment where Karl May movies were made. Hike through the park, take a boat ride over the emerald green Kozjak Lake and the street train back to the entrance. Duration in the park - 3 hours - walking shoes essential! Drive to Split for a free evening. (B)

DAY 4: SATURDAY - SPLIT - MAKARSKA
Guided tour of Split, a monumental city under UNESCO protection that belongs not only to Croatians, but also to you, as it is world heritage listed. Here we find an abundance of Roman architecture - of special interest is the Diocletian Palace. Transfer to the ship and depart from Split harbour at 13,00h. Sail along the Dalmatian coast down to the Makarska Riviera. We spend the afternoon swimming at one of the beautiful beaches on the Riviera. From here, those feeling adventurous can join our white water rafting excursion on the Cetina river and meet up with the ship in Makarska in the evening. In Makarska we will have an early dinner - meet & greet BBQ to meet the crew and other passengers. Overnight in the port of Makarska where strolling along the streets, you will come across numerous churches and other architectural and cultural sites. (B & D)

DAY 5: SUNDAY - MAKARSKA - MLJET
Early morning departure towards Mljet with the first stop on the Peljesac peninsula for a refreshing swim. The whole afternoon is free to visit the salt lakes in Mljet National Park and enjoy the sun and sea on this peaceful island. In the middle of the large lake, inside the National park, we will visit an old abbey and church located on a small islet. Our overnight stay is in port Polaca/Pomena. (B & L)

DAY 6: MONDAY - MLJET - DUBROVNIK
After breakfast we depart for Dubrovnik, which is the highlight of this cruise. En route we’ll have time for a brief swim. Enjoy the beautiful sights of nature along the way towards "heaven on Earth", according to famous writer George Bernard Shaw. Arrive in Dubrovnik in the afternoon. Guided tour of Dubrovnik with a local guide. Take a walk through Stradun - both a street and a square - and promenade inside the city walls. We recommend a walk on top of the 1,940 m long city walls! Our overnight stay is in the port of this magical town. (B & L)

DAY 7: TUESDAY - DUBROVNIK - SIPAN/TRSTENIK
The morning is free to explore Dubrovnik. Discover the beauty of its history through numerous monuments, narrow streets, churches and a myriad of cultural and historical structures - it will truly leave you breathless. Around noon we leave this delightful town and continue our cruise towards the island Sipan or a little town of Trstenik on the Peljesac penninsula, where we swim in the afternoon and spend the night. DAY 8: WEDNESDAY - SIPAN/TRSTENIK - KORCULA
After breakfast we depart for Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Lunch on the riva in front of Lumbarda (part of Korcula). Arrive in Korcula late afternoon for an overnight stay in the port. On this island you can find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. Hear the story of the stone walls, which were built over two centuries ago. Guided tour with a local guide. (B & L)

DAY 9: THURSDAY - KORCULA -HVAR
Early morning departure to the Pakleni Islands for lunch and swimming. Departure for Hvar after lunch. Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic. Here we can find the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower; also the oldest community theatre in Europe was founded here in 1612 AD. The city of Hvar offers abundant entertainment full of restaurants, bars and cafes that are open long into the night. Guided tour with local guide. (B & L)

DAY 10: FRIDAY - HVAR (Bol) - SPLIT
Our next stop will be the island of Brac. Swimming is planned at one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia - Zlatni Rat near Bol (the Golden cape - its gravel promontory shifts from side to side as the wind and waves constantly change its shape). Bol is a typical fisherman’s town turned into a popular tourist destination. After lunch we will start our journey back to Split where the last overnight is planned. On our way to Split there will be another swimming break in one of the many bays on island of Brac. Arrival at Split in the late afternoon. Enjoy the sight of the Split Riviera upon arrival. (B & L)

DAY 11: SATURDAY - SPLIT
An early breakfast after which it is time to say goodbye to the crew and all your new friends! Transfer to the Airport. (B)

  • The Captain reserves the right to change the route in case of bad weather conditions
  • Departures are guaranteed. Sky Air Services reserves the right to cancel departures with less than 10 participants and changing vessels if need arises
  • Guests must abide by the ship rules (found in written form on the ship) especially with regards to not bringing drinks on board.
  • In the event of rules being compromised, the captain reserves the right to ask passengers to disembark

  • Until 30 days prior to arrival - advance payment (EUR 180 per person) - non-refundable
  • 29-22 days - 25% of the remaining balance
  • 21-15 days - 50% of the remaining balance
  • 14-0 days - 100% fee
  • Name change / date change fee - EUR 20 per person (valid only if the change is done until 30 days prior booked departure, otherwise regular cancellation clause will be applied)
